INTOCAST Ibérica receives EU & Regional Government funding for CO2 emissions capture project
INTODOL - Minimizing INTOCAST’s Carbon Footprint
INTOCAST Ibérica investigates how to neutralize CO2 emissions of its tunnel kiln using in-plant by-products.
INTOCAST is committed to sustainability and, as a whole, this remains a priority. In the context of a manufacturing process with zero waste, Environmental and R&D Teams from INTOCAST Ibérica initiated a project to neutralize CO2 emissions from its tunnel kiln, utilising by-products collected from other internal processes at the Lugones plant.
Project INTODOL started in July 2020 and will conclude in December 2021. The project is supported by the Economic Development Agency from Principality of Asturias (IDEPA), as well as Research Teams of Petrology and Chemical Engineering from the University of Oviedo that act as scientific partners.
INTOCAST commends the INTODOL Team for their ongoing commitment to Environmental Care.
