Who We are?
We, INTOCAST AG, are a company founded in 1979 that manufactures and markets products for the refractory industry worldwide. With a team of approximately 280 employees across Germany, we offer our customers a comprehensive product range, designed for use where things get hot. Our subsidiaries also operate in the refractory sector and complement our product portfolio.
What do we do?
We produce shaped and unshaped refractory products, casting aids, and metallurgical slag additives. We also support our customers in processes such as melting, alloying, combustion, and hot forming, which require broad-based research and product development, services we provide to our customers as well.
At the Oberhausen site, INTOCAST AG develops and manufactures refractory magnesia-carbon bricks and monolithic refractory mixes with various raw material compositions. The site’s annual output is around 80,000 tons, with products shipped worldwide. Around 120 employees work at the Oberhausen plant.
What sets us apart?
INTOCAST thrives because of its employees—they are our most valuable resource. We aim to satisfy not only our customers but also our staff. Our strong team spirit and excellent working atmosphere help us support each other so we can deliver 100% for our clients. Team events and a family-like work environment are part of our company culture, as is our hands-on mentality. Respectful, warm, and open interaction is very important to us, and even in turbulent times, we remain resilient.
