We are currently looking for a new team member (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible opportunity. We offer a full-time position as Head of Purchasing at our Ratingen location.
As Head of Purchasing (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the following tasks
- Implementation, control and monitoring of purchasing processes
- Preparation of tenders, price comparisons and conducting negotiations
- Preparation of supply contracts, call-off and blanket orders
- Carrying out the WIF calculation and controlling
- Monitoring price developments on the market in cooperation with suppliers and other INTOCAST regions
- Budget and capex planning for the production sites
- Creation and implementation of supplier audits and supplier evaluation as well as preparation of audit reports
- Inventory planning and implementation as well as adjustment postings
- Determination and monitoring of company targets in the area of purchasing
- Processing purchasing supplier complaints
- Creation and review of work/process instructions
- Reporting supply bottlenecks and monitoring the supply chain
- Identifying risks and opportunities and participating in audits
- Notifications to external bodies and preparation of BaFa applications, as well as cooperation with auditors and monitoring organisations and statistical offices and authorities
- Long-term procurement strategies and strategic planning
- Energy procurement and applications for tax refunds
- Monitoring and strategic planning of purchasing processes at subsidiaries
- Preparation for legal guidelines and changes to business processes
- Professional and disciplinary management and development of employees
- Organisation of the purchasing team, training and induction plans
- Creation of qualification matrix and training plans
This is how you convince us:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training in purchasing or a degree in business administration
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional and leadership experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of purchasing and purchasing processes
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- You have strong negotiation and communication skills
- You have a high level of leadership skills combined with social and communication skills
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to process optimization
- Team player with reliability, initiative, and structured working style
