About us:
ALSICAL Hüttenwerkstechnik, a medium-sized company with approximately 35 employees, has been successfully producing high-quality granulated casting auxiliaries for nearly thirty years. The annual production amounts to about 15,000 tons and has a significant impact on the quality of the end product for the customer. Our team of highly qualified technical specialists, in conjunction with our advanced laboratories and research & development center, ensures the highest standards of quality and consistency. We are currently looking for dedicated employees (m/f/d) for our production laboratory at the earliest opportunity.
Your responsibilities:
- Quality control of raw materials and products, conducting analyses:
- Bulk density determination, particle size distribution, moisture determination, C/S determination, CO2 determination, loss on ignition, melt behavior, fluorine determination, X-ray fluorescence analysis, viscosity, heating microscopy.
- Evaluation and documentation of test results
- Participation in quality management (ISO 9001) and energy management (ISO 50001)
- Maintenance and calibration of measuring devices
- Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Your profile:
- Successfully completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
- Good understanding of chemical processes and analysis techniques
- Reliable, conscientious, and independent work ethic
- Commitment, initiative, and teamwork
- Proficient in MS Office 365, especially MS Excel, and modern communication tools
- Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for this position
