We are looking for an experienced team lead for our local production site in Oberhausen in order to be able to meet the growing demand from global customers with the highest quality.
Your Tasks:
- Qualitative monitoring of stone and mixes & mortar production in accordance with the defined quality specifications
- Testing and approval of raw materials in accordance with the test specifications
- Ensuring the operational readiness of all equipment used in the laboratory
- Maintenance of quality data and recipes in the ICOS or Syspro system
- Coordinating and carrying out laboratory tests in collaboration with R&D and the department heads
- Management and coordination of employees and quality assurance in general
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety guidelines including risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with product specifications and customer requirements (e.g. guaranteed properties)
- Preparation of product information and processing instructions
- Creation and maintenance of work instructions, implementation of training measures
- Preparation of test certificates
- Complaints processing
- Presentation of work results at regular intervals (trend analyses of products and raw materials, test results)
- Process-oriented optimization of workflows in your area of responsibility
- Participation in internal and external audits
- Planning and execution of internal and external audits (ISO 9001, ISO 45001) of assigned INTOCAST plants
- Conducting presentations within the company and to customers
- Cooperation with the responsible R&D departments
- Data backup Data Switch and creation of a MIC file
What you bring to the table:

- Completed technical, engineering or master’s degree in the fields of ceramics, mineralogy, chemistry, metallurgy, geology or related fields
- Several years of professional experience in the field of QA and/or research and development in relation to heavy clay or comparable productions
- Systematic and independent way of working
- Willingness to work with inventory
- Willingness to work weekends if necessary
- Quick comprehension, good organizational skills and ability to work in a team
- Quality-conscious and responsible work
- High social competence
- Decision-making ability
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Fluent written and spoken German & English required
